Description
This Techcon brass elbow fitting turns a 1/4 NPT valve port into a 90 degree connection for 3/8 inch OD tubing, carrying compressed air from a regulator or manifold into a dispensing valve without a straight run eating up bench space. Brass construction holds up under the repeated pressure cycling a pinch valve or pneumatic dispenser sees, and the compression-style tube end grips the line without a separate ferrule kit. It is one of the small dispenser parts that turns a straight air supply into a clean, low-profile hookup behind a valve stand.
Where These Dispenser Parts Fit
Techs thread the 1/4 NPT end into a valve body, regulator outlet, or manifold port, then push 3/8 inch OD tubing into the compression end and tighten the collar by hand. The 90 degree turn routes the air line down and away from the valve trigger and piston stroke, which keeps the supply line from fouling the moving parts on TS-series pinch and micro-shot valves. Swapping one of these dispenser parts takes a wrench and a couple of minutes, well inside a routine bench changeover.

Order this fitting with the matching length of 3/8 inch OD tubing so a valve hookup goes together in one trip. A brass elbow like this one also outlasts a plastic push-connect equivalent in shops that run compressed air lines near solvent vapor or heat, since brass does not soften or craze the way some plastics do over time. Techcon builds the pinch and micro-shot valve bodies this fitting feeds. See the rest of our dispensing valves and mixer parts for compatible tubing and hardware, including the straight fittings and manifold hardware used on the same air supply run.
