This one-component, moisture cure hybrid calk is built for lasting white, paintable joints across a wide range of dissimilar building materials.
Where This Calk Gets Used
The product bonds and seals vinyl siding, vinyl trim board, stone, masonry, wood, engineered wood, hardboard, aluminum, and a range of other metals. Trim carpenters and remodelers reach for this material where a joint needs to move with the substrate without yellowing or chalking over time, and where the bead has to accept paint cleanly once cured. Exterior trim, siding seams, and mixed-material transitions on a building envelope are typical placements, especially where the finished color has to stay consistent for years in direct sun.
How This Calk Holds Up
The hybrid chemistry cures moisture-activated to a stay-white, non-sag consistency suitable for vertical joints, and it resists the yellowing that plagues many one-part urethane sealants over time. It meets ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 50, giving it the movement capability and adhesion needed for exterior trim and siding joints that see seasonal expansion and contraction year after year without cracking at the bond line. The non-sag consistency holds its tooled profile on vertical and overhead joints instead of slumping before it skins over.
