MS Hybrid Adhesives

Silane-Modified Polymers (SMP)

MS Hybrid Adhesives

The flexibility of silicone combined with the strength of polyurethane.

MS hybrid adhesives represent the next generation of bonding and sealing technology. These one-part, moisture-curing systems are engineered to create flexible, durable, and highly weather-resistant joints across a massive range of materials.

They bond aggressively to metals, composites, glass, wood, and plastics—often without surface primers. Because they are paintable, solvent-free, and contain no isocyanates, MS polymers are the modern standard for demanding interior and exterior environments.

MS Polymer and Hybrid Sealants

Highly Paintable

Unlike silicone, MS polymers can be painted almost immediately without fish-eyeing or finish rejection.

Primerless Adhesion

Forms incredibly strong bonds to difficult, dissimilar materials without the need for messy surface primers.

Isocyanate-Free

Safer for workers than traditional polyurethanes, and will not shrink, bubble, or foam during the curing process.

Common Applications for MS Hybrids

Architectural & Panel Bonding

The industry standard for hanging metal and composite wall panels. Maintains elasticity under extreme wind-loads, thermal expansion, and vibration.

Countertop & Fixture Bonding

Provides heavy-duty “instant grab” holding power for mounting undermount sinks, sealing backsplashes, and bonding solid surface materials.

Windows, Doors & Curtain Walls

Exceptional UV resistance and non-yellowing finishes make MS hybrids ideal for weatherproof exterior perimeter sealing.

Signage & Transportation

Bonds galvanized metals, plastics, and painted aluminum without primers. Widely used in trailer manufacturing and commercial signage assembly.
