Medmix MCHX 10-24T Static Mixer, 24 Elements

Description

The MCHX 10-24T static mixer fits medmix MIXPAC F-System cartridges designed for 4:1 and 10:1 two-part materials. Its 24-element helix and 10 mm inner diameter provide a longer mixing path for systems where the smaller component must be distributed evenly through a much larger base component.

High-Ratio Cartridge Fit

This model uses an integral retaining nut and a stepped outlet for compatible F-System cartridge assemblies. The inlets must align with both cartridge chambers so resin and hardener enter the helix at the intended ratio. As the material travels through the elements, each turn separates and recombines the streams to build a uniform mixed bead before it reaches the trimmed outlet.

Check the cartridge ratio, inlet pattern, and connection before use because a 10:1 cartridge needs different internal geometry than a 1:1 package. Seat the mixer squarely, lock the retaining nut, and purge material until the bead is uniform. A brief purge also clears air near the cartridge outlets and gives the operator a chance to confirm that both plungers are advancing.

The current medmix catalog lists article 102446 with 24 elements, a 10 mm inner diameter, and approximately 16.2 mL of waste volume. That retained volume should be included when estimating adhesive use for short batches. Replace the mixer after a pause long enough for the adhesive to build viscosity or cure inside the helix, and never use extra dispenser force to push a blocked tip.
