Where the 06-24T fits
- Middle element count in the 6 mm group. Six more mixing passes than the 06-18T, at the cost of 38 mm more nozzle length.
- Same 6 mm bore as the rest of the 06 group, so the bead size and flow rate do not change when you step up from 18 elements.
- Retained volume of 5.20 ml, roughly 1 ml more than the 06-18T. Still low compared to the 8, 10, and 13 mm nozzles.
- A reasonable default when the material mixes normally and you want margin on blend quality without jumping to 32 elements.
- Mounts directly to the cartridge with no converter. Disposable, so no purging or cleanup between batches.

Frequently asked questions
What does MFHX 06-24T mean?
MFH is mixer, F-System, helix design. The X marks the 4:1 and 10:1 version with orange elements. The 06 is the 6 mm inner diameter. The 24 is the number of mixing elements. The T is the stepped outlet tip.
What was the old part number for the MFHX 06-24T?
This nozzle was previously sold as the MFX 06-24. The current medmix article number is 102474.
Should I use the 06-18T or the 06-24T?
Both have the same 6 mm bore, so the bead size and flow rate are the same. The 06-24T adds six mixing elements for a more thorough blend, which helps with harder-to-mix materials. The tradeoff is 38 mm more nozzle length, slightly more back pressure at the gun, and about 1 ml more material retained at changeover.
How much adhesive stays in an MFHX 06-24T?
5.20 ml, compared to 4.16 ml for the 06-18T and 6.56 ml for the 06-32T.
Will the MFHX 06-24T work on a 1:1 cartridge?
No. MFHX nozzles are built for 4:1 and 10:1 ratios. For 1:1 and 2:1 F-System cartridges, use the MFH series.
Do I need a converter to mount this nozzle?
No. The MFHX mounts directly to the F-System cartridge with an interlock connection. The older B-System mixer needed a converter to run on an F-System cartridge.
