Description
Insulcast RTVS 27 HTC is a two-component RTV silicone potting and encapsulation compound for heat-generating electronics that need thermal management along with environmental protection. Its 1.0 W/mK thermal conductivity carries heat away from hot-running components while a UL 94 V0 rating and 500 V/mm dielectric strength keep the finished assembly flame retardant and electrically isolated.

Surface Prep and Use
Combine Part A and Part B at 1:1 by weight and mix thoroughly to a uniform color. Pour or pump the mixed compound around the assembly, working within the one-hour pot life at 25 C. Degas under vacuum for a void-free pot in critical assemblies. Cure 24 hours at 25 C, 2 hours at 60 C, or 0.25 hour at 120 C.
