Chem-Set™ 305 Low VOC
This flammable high solids synthetic elastomer contact bond adhesive is specifically formulated for bonding various types of polystyrene foams and plastic laminates to plywood and aluminum skins. Our customers have used it very successfully with recreational vehicles, mobile homes, modular panels and carpeting for boats and pool decking.
A Few Advantages to Expect with Chem-Set 305:
- Excellent spray break up and fluid distribution rates, which will not attack foam. (Substrates should be under at least 20 psi or more if available within the limitations of the substrate. Adhesive coat should be dry – normally 2-5 minutes of dry time is sufficient.
- Cure: 90% within 12 hours and full strength within 2-3 days.
- High resistance to water, humidity and alcohol.
- Allows immediate machining – after at least 20 psi of pressure between the two substrates to be bonded.
- High heat, creep and dead load resistance.
Chem-Set™ AW315 is a non-flammable, solvent based, high solids contact adhesive that is specifically formulated for use in bonding a wide variety of materials, including decorative laminates, plywood, particleboard polyurethane foam and rigid plastics. Customers love AW315 for its ease of sprayability, long open tack, and aggressive grab with high green strength. AW315 also offers a long open time.
