Description
The Techcon 700 Series dispensing needle in 32 gauge places light-cure resin and thin adhesive onto fine targets while its yellow light-block hub shields UV-sensitive fluid from ambient light in the tip. The straight 1/4 inch cannula threads onto a standard Luer lock hub, and the light-block color keeps light-cure resin from kicking off inside the tip between shots.
Where this dispensing needle fits
UV-cure adhesive lines in electronics and medical-device assembly use this light-block tip to place microdots of light-cure resin without the tip curing shut. The 32 gauge bore runs about 0.004 inch inside, the fine end of the range, so it suits microdots and thin lines of low-viscosity resin. The light-block hub matters on benches near UV or strong shop lighting, where an unshielded tip can cure at the outlet and clog. Electronics and medical-device cells that run UV adhesives reach for this tip to hold prime through the shift.
How the dispensing needle performs in service
The light-block resin in the hub filters the wavelengths that trigger cure, so resin stays fluid up to the outlet. A clean Luer seat keeps the tip square and stops weeping at the hub. Purge after a change to clear air, and store opened boxes away from UV and bright shop light. Pairing the tip with an amber barrel and a light-shielded work area extends the working window even further on the bench.
Match the bore to the resin and the feature size, and keep the fluid path shielded from the point of dispense back to the barrel. Stage spares so a cured or fouled tip swaps out fast, and cap the barrel between shots to hold prime and block stray light. These tips ship 50 to a box.
