Description
AirFlow 3 Quart is a COX pneumatic cartridge dispenser for 946 mL (29 oz) one-component materials. The Series 3 platform is built for low to medium viscosity sealants and adhesives where compressed air can give operators steadier bead control than a manual quart gun.
AirFlow 3 Quart Benefits
- 946 mL cartridge capacity supports longer bead runs before reloading.
- 337 lbf maximum thrust gives practical output for many quart cartridge materials.
- 100 psi maximum pneumatic pressure fits common regulated shop-air setups.
- Anodized aluminum barrel and epoxy coated steel frame support production use.
- Variable speed control helps tune material flow to joint size and operator pace.
This dispenser is a good fit when the job calls for quart cartridges and repeat output. Use it for sealing, bonding, and maintenance work where the material package is already standardized around 29 oz tubes.
AirFlow 3 Quart Applications
- Panel sealing and long joint work using 29 oz cartridges.
- Low to medium viscosity adhesive beads in fabrication cells.
- Shop maintenance jobs where air supply is already available.
- Construction and installation teams using quart cartridge sealants.
- Bench dispensing where manual guns create uneven output over a long run.
Setup And Use
Load the cartridge squarely, check nozzle cut size, and regulate air before starting the bead. Begin with low pressure, test on scrap or a hidden area, then increase pressure only enough to keep flow steady. The dispenser should feed the cartridge cleanly without surging.
Bleed pressure before changing cartridges or clearing a nozzle. Keep the front plate, barrel, and air connection clean so cartridges seat properly. For production jobs, record the pressure and nozzle size that give the required bead.
Technical Details And Documentation
COX pneumatic range data lists the AirFlow 3 Quart with 946 mL cartridge capacity, 337 lbf maximum thrust, and 6.8 bar or 100 psi pressure. Supporting product data lists a 14 inch frame length, glass filled nylon handle, anodized aluminum barrel, and CE and REACH component approvals. Review current information from COX dispensers before production use.
