Description
This co-axial cartridge gun is built for shops running two-part adhesives and sealants that need consistent 10:1 metering without babysitting the ratio by hand. It takes Albion’s 380ml compact coaxial cartridges, 7 1/4 in long with a 2 1/2 in outside diameter, and drives both components through a single trigger stroke, which keeps mix accuracy the same on cartridge one and cartridge fifty.
The gun itself is Albion’s B-Line frame, the same platform the company uses across its manual dispensing line, built around a 26:1 thrust drive. That ratio matters once the material gets thick or the shop temperature drops: a lower-thrust gun bogs down on cold, high-viscosity two-part epoxies and forces the operator to pump harder and more often, which is exactly the kind of inconsistency that throws off a fixed mix ratio. The higher thrust keeps stroke pressure steady from the first pull to the last.
Co-Axial Cartridge Gun Features
- Dispenses 380ml (14 fl. oz.) compact coaxial cartridges at a fixed 10:1 mix ratio
- 26:1 thrust drive delivers the force needed for thicker, cold-weather-viscosity materials
- Double gripping plates and a steel trigger hold up under daily shop use rather than flexing under load
- Adjustment screw lets the operator take up mechanical wear over the tool’s life instead of replacing the gun
- Compatible cordless version (E18C380X10) is available for cord-free dispensing on the same cartridge format
Co-Axial Cartridge Gun Applications
- Two-part structural adhesives and epoxies packaged in 380ml 10:1 cartridges
- Metal fabrication and countertop shops running repeat two-part bonding jobs where ratio drift is not an option
- Field installation crews who need one gun that holds ratio without a separate metering pump or static mixer cart
- Cold-storage or outdoor installs where viscosity climbs and a low-thrust gun would stall mid-stroke
Because the mix ratio is fixed by the cartridge and the gun’s drive, operator error on ratio is largely designed out. That is worth calling out for shops rotating junior staff through dispensing work: a coaxial cartridge and gun combination removes the single biggest source of bad two-part bonds, which is an operator eyeballing or hand-mixing a ratio that should be metered.
Chemical Concepts stocks the co-axial cartridge gun alongside compatible dispensers, mixers, and nozzles so the full dispensing setup ships together in one order.
