Description
The Araldite static mixer is the disposable mixing nozzle that blends a 1 to 1 380 mL methacrylate (MMA) adhesive as it leaves the cartridge. Internal helical elements fold resin and hardener together at the correct ratio so the bead comes out uniform and ready to cure. Each pack ships as a 12 pack of fresh nozzles.
Where the Araldite Static Mixer Fits
Use one nozzle per cartridge of 1 to 1 380 mL Araldite MMA structural adhesive. The quadro square element pattern suits the higher viscosity and fast cure of methacrylate chemistry, giving an even mix for bonding metals, composites, and plastics on production benches and in field repair. Swap to a fresh nozzle whenever adhesive gels inside the tip between shots, since a partly cured nozzle restricts flow and starves the joint of properly blended adhesive.
How the Araldite Static Mixer Performs
The element count is matched to MMA so the two parts reach full blend before they reach the substrate, which protects bond strength and cure time. Running a mixer that is too short leaves streaks of unmixed resin and weak joints that can fail under load. Keeping spare nozzles on hand means no downtime when a tip sets up mid-job, and a fresh nozzle on every cartridge keeps each bead consistent from the first shot to the last.
