Description
Chem-Set 606 is a two-component structural adhesive built on methacrylate (MMA) chemistry, mixed 1:1 and dispensed from a 400ml cartridge sized for a standard two-component gun. It bonds a wide range of substrates, including many plastics and composites that resist conventional adhesives, and reaches handling strength fast enough for production assembly lines that can’t wait on a slow-cure epoxy. The 1:1 ratio also makes it easier to meter accurately through a standard cartridge gun than adhesives that mix at uneven ratios, which cuts down on wasted material and off-ratio cure failures.
Where Structural Adhesive Like Chem-Set 606 Is Used
- Structural bonding of plastics, composites, and dissimilar substrates in fabrication and assembly work
- Production lines where a fast-handling bond keeps parts moving without an added mechanical fastening step
- Repair and rework where a 1:1 cartridge format is easier to meter and dispense accurately than a bulk two-part system
- Limited-quantity and specialty runs where a 400ml cartridge is a better fit than a bulk drum

Order Chem-Set 606 with a compatible 1:1 two-component cartridge gun and static mixing nozzles sized to the 400ml cartridge, since the gun and nozzle determine how evenly the two sides mix at the tip. Fresh nozzles on every cartridge change matter more with structural acrylics than with slower-curing chemistries, since off-ratio material at the tip cures inside the mixer if a job pauses mid-cartridge.
