Description
Chem-Set 633 epoxy is a fast-setting, two-part gel adhesive for natural stone, wood, metal, ceramic, concrete, and other rough or irregular surfaces. The compact 25 mL cartridge is sized for repair work, fixture bonding, and small assemblies where a controlled amount of 1:1 material is easier to manage than a large cartridge. Its non-sag consistency keeps the mixed adhesive in place on vertical and overhead bond areas.
Bonding and Repair Applications
The gel formulation fills gaps up to 0.250 inch and develops a strong bond across many rigid substrates. Countertop fabricators can use it for laminating stone and attaching sink fasteners, while maintenance teams can use it on signs, plaques, equipment components, and general shop repairs. It also bonds steel, aluminum, copper alloys, ferrites, fabrics, and many ceramic surfaces when the parts are clean and properly prepared. Always test uncertain plastics or coated surfaces before production use.
Working Time and Cure
At 72 degrees F, working time is approximately 4 to 7 minutes and fixture time is about 10 to 15 minutes. Functional cure is listed at 1.5 hours, with full cure after 24 hours under typical conditions. The 1:1 cartridge should be used with a compatible dispenser and mixer. Purge material until the blend is uniform, apply it within the working window, and keep the assembly supported until the adhesive reaches handling strength. Cooler conditions can slow cure, while larger mixed masses may build heat more quickly.
