Application Guidance
Prepare clean surfaces free of dust, dirt and grease. Using an air-atomizing adhesive spray gun with compressed air, spray from approximately 6–10 in. (150–250 mm). Apply a consistent coating with 80–100% coverage and a minimum coat weight of 2.5–3.0 dry g/ft²; porous surfaces may require two coats. Allow the adhesive to dry completely, mate the substrates and apply 40–60 PLI using a nip roller or suitable J-roller. Full bond strength develops in approximately 24–48 hours. Avoid plasticized vinyl, flexible plastics, expanded/extruded polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, copper/copper-alloy substrates, and copper/aluminum application components.
Typical Use Cases
- Decorative laminate bonding
- Telegraph-sensitive laminate applications
- Wood-panel lamination
- Leather and rubber bonding
- Compatible metal bonding
