The Chem-Set Di-Count adjustable countersink accepts drills from 3/32 in through 9/32 in, covering wood screw sizes #2 through #18. This chem-set tool is built for drilling and countersinking natural wood, man-made boards, MDF, chipboard, plywood, aluminum, non-ferrous material, aluminum composite material, composite decking, and HDPE.

Use this countersink when one shop tool needs to support several drill sizes instead of a dedicated cutter for every screw. Cabinet builders, sign shops, installers, and general fabrication teams can set the cutter for the pilot drill in use, then produce a clean recess for flat head wood screws or similar hardware. Drilling And Setup Notes
Drills are not included, so match the drill bit to the fastener and material before setting depth. Secure the workpiece, keep the drill stable, and test the countersink on scrap when the finished face matters. When drilling aluminum or other non-ferrous materials, use lubricant or air cooling as appropriate for the operation, since heat buildup can shorten tool life and leave a poor finish around the screw recess.
