Description
CHT Silcoset 152 is a 1-component, room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone adhesive sealant. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a flexible, durable silicone elastomer. It is approved to Rolls Royce MSRR 9146, AFS-1540B, and Airbus CML 09-P01 and carries a NATO stock reference of 8030-99-225-0551. It is used in aerospace, aviation, military, and high-temperature industrial assembly where an approved, primerless silicone sealant is required.

Performance in Production
- Cures at room temperature on exposure to atmospheric moisture with no heat or accelerator required.
- 2-minute tack-free time supports positioning and assembly flow.
- Non-slumping paste consistency maintains placement on vertical, overhead, and complex geometry surfaces.
- Good primerless adhesion to metals, ceramics, glass, and thermoplastic and thermosetting materials.
- Flexible across a -60°C to +300°C (-76°F to +572°F) service range, suitable for assemblies that cycle through extreme temperatures.
- High volume resistivity and dielectric strength support use in electrically sensitive assemblies.
- Acetoxy cure produces a light acetic acid (vinegar) odor during cure that dissipates quickly. Use in adequately ventilated areas.
- Not recommended for use on copper, copper alloys, or direct contact with copper-bearing electronic assemblies. Verify substrate compatibility before use.
- Shelf life is 24 months when stored at or below 40°C in the original, unopened container.
