Description
Fluorolube GR-544 is a high-viscosity PCTFE fluoropolymer grease, NLGI 2, with strong film strength for valve and seal applications. Penetration 257-277, dropping point 530°F, T-80 base oil equivalent (~80 cSt). Nonflammable, oxygen-compatible.
GR-544 Benefits
- NLGI 2 consistency with high-viscosity T-80 base oil (~80 cSt)
- Strong film retention for high-load and sealing applications
- Nonflammable PCTFE chemistry, oxygen-compatible
- Stable in strongly oxidizing and acidic environments
- Dropping point 530°F (275°C)
- ~80% combined fluorine and chlorine content
Common Applications
- Valve sealing in aggressive chemical service
- High-load bearings and slow-speed components
- Oxygen service systems
- Chemical processing equipment
- Cryogenic and oxidizing environments (above 30°F)

Selection Notes
GR-544 is the high-load specialist of the Fluorolube grease line. For lower viscosity / faster-moving parts, see GR-362 or GR-375. For maximum dropping point, see GR-660.
Use Restrictions
Do not use with aluminum or magnesium parts under heavy friction. Avoid contact with sodium, potassium, amines, hydrazine, liquid fluorine, and chlorine trifluoride.
