Description

Insulcast RTVS A-4000 is a two-part RTV silicone potting and encapsulation compound for electronics that run hot and take abuse in the field. It pours or pumps around an assembly and cures to a tough, protective mass that seals out moisture and cushions components against shock.

Surface Prep and Use

Mix Part A and Part B at 100:3.3 by weight. Pour or pump the mixed compound around the assembly and degas under vacuum for a void-free pot in critical parts. Cure 24 to 96 hours at 25 C, or 8 hours at 200 C for a faster turnaround.
