Description
The LORD 7545 urethane adhesive in the A/D black configuration is a two-component paste system designed for high-strength bonding of primed metals, SMC, FRP, and engineered plastics. The LORD 7545 urethane adhesive 1:1 mix ratio by volume keeps cartridge dispensing simple and consistent, and the non-sag formula stays in place on vertical surfaces during cure.
Key Features and Benefits
- Two-part urethane paste with a 1:1 mix ratio by volume.
- Cures to full strength in 24 hours at 75°F (24°C).
- Heat acceleration available up to 250°F (121°C) for faster line throughput.
- Non-flammable and contains no ozone-depleting chemicals.
- Resistant to weathering, chemicals, sunlight, and humidity.
- Black color matches dark substrates and powder-coat finishes.
- Non-sagging, holds bead geometry on vertical bond lines.
Common Applications for LORD 7545 Urethane Adhesive
- FRP composite panel bonding for trailers, recreational vehicles, and bus bodies.
- SMC bonding in automotive and heavy truck assemblies.
- Bonding primed steel, aluminum, and powder-coated metal panels.
- Plastic-to-plastic and plastic-to-metal structural assembly.
- Marine and transportation equipment fabrication.
Compatible Substrates
- Primed metals (steel, aluminum, galvanized).
- SMC and BMC composites.
- FRP and gelcoat composite panels.
- Engineered plastics and powder-coated finishes.
