Description

The LORD LP-200 and LP-400 Static mixer is a 2:1 acrylic mixer used with Parker LORD cartridge systems that meter resin and activator through separate outlets. The disposable mixer attaches to the cartridge, divides and recombines the two components inside the nozzle, and delivers a blended adhesive bead for assembly, repair, and production bonding work.

Where this Static mixer fits

This mixer belongs with LORD LP-200 and LP-400 acrylic adhesive packages that require a 2:1 mix ratio. Cartridge adhesives depend on the nozzle geometry to keep the A-side and B-side on ratio after they leave the package. A fresh mixer helps prevent streaks, soft spots, or partially cured adhesive at the start of the bead. It also keeps cleanup simple because the cured adhesive stays in the disposable nozzle instead of inside the gun or cartridge nose.

Use this style for work cells that already run LORD acrylic cartridges on metal, composite, plastic, sign, trailer, and specialty vehicle assemblies. It is a small part, but it is part of the cure system. A cartridge with the wrong mixer may dispense material, but the adhesive can leave the tip under-mixed or with too much pressure at the trigger.

Use notes for cartridge dispensing

A disposable cartridge mixer should be treated as a process part, not a generic accessory. static mixers are selected by cartridge interface, ratio, element style, and adhesive viscosity. A mixing nozzle that fits the nose but does not match the system can raise trigger force or leave unmixed material in the bead. Requests for a 2 part mixing nozzle or jb weld mixing nozzle should be checked against the actual cartridge, because similar-looking mixers can use different bayonet, bell, or threaded connections. Keep spare nozzles staged with the cartridge lot so operators start with a fresh path every time. Record the mixer part number with the adhesive lot when the line is qualified, then restock from that match instead of choosing by appearance.

Choosing a Static mixer for LORD acrylic cartridges

Choose this mixer when the cartridge, adhesive family, and process sheet call for the LP-200 or LP-400 2:1 acrylic format. Stage one fresh mixer for each cartridge start and for any pause long enough for material to cure in the nozzle. Before bonding production parts, purge a short bead until color and flow look uniform, then apply adhesive to the prepared joint within the open time for the specific LORD grade.

The supporting search terms around this product include static mixers, mixing nozzle, 2 part mixing nozzle, static mixing nozzle, and static mixer nozzle, but the buyer should still match by cartridge and part number first. For matching guns, cartridges, nozzles, and dispensing accessories, browse dispensers, mixers, and nozzles. For manufacturer background on LORD adhesive technologies, see Parker.
