Description
Most adhesive-mount nuts on the market use a perforated base, holes that let excess adhesive squeeze through and out the sides during installation. The Specialinsert Master-Plate F1Y38 skips that design entirely. It uses a solid, hole-free base with round spacer feet, Specialinsert calls this ATC (Adhesive Thickness Control), that set the bondline thickness the moment the part is pressed into place and keep adhesive contained under the nut instead of spilling out around it. That means a cleaner install, a tighter and more consistent bond, and a lot less adhesive used per piece. It bonds a 1/4-20 internal thread to metal, plastic, composite, or other surfaces too thin or brittle to drill or weld, no mechanical fastening required.
