Description
The Techcon material inlet block is a 3/8 inch NPT feed component for valve assemblies, built as dispensing valve parts for bringing material into the valve body cleanly. It is used when a worn, damaged, or contaminated inlet block needs replacement during a dispensing valve rebuild.

The inlet block is the transition point between the feed line and the dispense valve. It has to hold thread engagement, keep the material path aligned, and avoid introducing turbulence or leaks before the fluid reaches the valve seat. A 3/8 inch NPT inlet is common on higher-flow setups, pressure-fed systems, and thicker materials that need a larger path than small tube hardware can provide.
Replace the block when threads are damaged, when old sealant cannot be cleaned out, when a fitting has seized in the port, or when a valve rebuild points to wear around the material entry. Keeping the inlet block square to the hose or tube run also protects the valve body from side load. Install the block with compatible thread sealant, then reconnect the feed line without twisting the valve body. Pressure test before dispensing onto production parts. If the first purge shows bubbles, spurts, or delayed flow, stop and check the inlet connection before adjusting valve timing. A feed-side leak can look like a controller problem, but the fix is often mechanical.
For stations using two-part material, keep this component separate from disposable outlet hardware. It is not a mixing nozzle, 2 part mixing nozzle, or jb weld mixing nozzle. It sits in the valve hardware path, where fit, clean threads, and correct port size matter before any material reaches the final dispense tip.
