Description

The Medmix 200ml F-System Empty 4:1 Ratio PBT 2-Part Cartridge is a rigid, empty two-part cartridge built for medium to high volume two-component dispensing. It ships ready to fill, with self-venting lip seal pistons and sealing caps so you can load your own reactive material, store it, and dispense on demand. The 4:1 mix ratio holds two components in separate chambers and keeps them apart until they meet in the static mixer at the point of application.

The cartridge body is molded from PBT (polybutylene terephthalate). PBT resists chemical attack and holds its shape under pressure, which makes it well suited to reactive materials such as structural adhesives, methacrylates, and other compounds that can swell or degrade softer plastics. The same F-System 200ml cartridge is also sold in a 225ml fill version (AF 200-04-20-01) when you need additional volume from the same dispensing setup.

Surface Prep and Use

Fill the cartridge with your reactive material, insert the supplied pistons, and seat the sealing caps for storage. To dispense, remove the cap, attach a matching 4:1 static mixer, load the cartridge into a compatible 4:1 dispensing gun, and prime until both components flow evenly through the mixer. Discard the first short bead to confirm a consistent mix before application. Clean substrates of dust, oil, and loose material per your adhesive supplier’s instructions for the best bond.
