Description

The Medmix 490ml F-System empty 10:1 ratio cartridge is a two-part (dual-component) cartridge supplied with matching pistons and resealable sealing caps. It is built for shops that need to fill, store, and dispense two-component materials at a 10:1 mix ratio. The cartridge body is molded from PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a tough engineering plastic that holds up well against reactive materials where standard polypropylene cartridges can swell or degrade.

Each cartridge follows the industrial F-System standard, so it seats correctly in any matching F-System dispensing gun. The two-part design keeps both components separated inside the cartridge until you attach a static mixing nozzle. Once a nozzle is fitted and the cartridge is loaded into the gun, the two parts are extruded together through the mixer in the correct ratio and begin curing as they leave the tip. This product ships empty with pistons and caps only. A dispensing gun and static mixing nozzles are sold separately.

Surface Prep and Use

Fill the cartridge with your two components in the correct chambers and insert the supplied pistons. Cap the cartridge with the sealing cap when not in use. To dispense, remove the cap, attach a static mixing nozzle, load the cartridge into a matching F-System gun, and purge a short bead to confirm even flow before applying. Mating substrates should be clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, and loose material for the best bond.
