Description

The Medmix 50ml A-System empty 4:1 ratio cartridge gives you a clean, repeatable way to store and dispense two-component adhesives, epoxies, silicones, and urethanes. Each cartridge holds a 50ml (1.7oz) total fill across two barrels and ships with matching EPDM pistons and a re-sealable cap, so it is ready to fill, seal, and dispense. The body is polypropylene, compatible with most epoxies, silicones, urethanes, and polyurethanes. It is not compatible with acrylic-based formulas (MMA and MA).

This is the A-System design, also called Square-Back. The 4:1 mix ratio keeps the two parts metered correctly until a static mixing nozzle is attached and the material is extruded through it, where mixing and cure begin. The pistons use a solid EPDM O-ring form factor, so a piston bleed strip or bleed wire is typically used during filling to release trapped air.

Surface Prep and Use

Fill each barrel with your two-part material, insert the EPDM pistons (using a bleed strip or insertion tool to release air), and cap until use. To dispense, remove the cap, attach a matching static mixing nozzle, load the cartridge into a 50ml dispenser sized for 4:1 ratios, and extrude until you have a fully mixed, consistent bead. Clean surfaces of dust, oil, and loose material before bonding for best adhesion.
