Description
Medmix 50ml Empty 3:2 Ratio 2-Part Cartridges with Pistons & Sealing Caps (AB 050-32-10-04) are industrial-grade empty dual cartridges built for storing and dispensing two-component adhesives, epoxies, silicones, and urethanes that cure at a 3:2 mix ratio. Each cartridge ships with matching sealing pistons and a re-closable cap, so you can fill, store, and dispense from the same package. This is the cartridge that fits the popular 3M DP2216 and EC2216 formulas. The two-component design keeps both parts separate until a static mixing nozzle is attached, at which point the materials are extruded together and curing begins.
50ml 3:2 Cartridge Benefits
- Holds 50ml total volume (about 1.7 oz) across both barrels in a true 3:2 metering ratio.
- Includes pin-style sealing pistons that let trapped air escape, then lock closed with a push of the blue pin.
- Re-closable cap lets you stop and restart a job without wasting filled material.
- Built on the B-System (Square-Back) design for a secure fit with matching dispensers and bayonet-mount mixers.
- Industrial grade and certified silicone free for sensitive bonding work.
- Rated for use up to 100 psi with compatible 50ml manual or pneumatic dispensers.
Common Applications
- Filling and dispensing two-part epoxies and structural adhesives.
- Metering 3:2 ratio silicones and urethanes for sealing and bonding.
- Repackaging bulk two-component compounds into ready-to-dispense cartridges.
- Production assembly that needs consistent, repeatable mix ratios.
- Maintenance and repair shops running 3M DP2216 and EC2216 formulas.
- Lab and prototyping work where precise metering of small volumes matters.
Surface Prep and Use
Fill each barrel with the correct part of your two-component system, keeping the 3:2 ratio intact, then insert the sealing pistons. Press the pin to vent air and seal the back of the cartridge. When ready to dispense, remove the cap, twist on a fresh bayonet-style static mixing nozzle, and load the cartridge into a matching 50ml dispenser. The mixing nozzle blends both parts as material is extruded, so use a new nozzle for each session since nozzles are difficult to clean and are generally single-use.
For best results, dry-fit the cartridge in your dispenser before filling and confirm you have nozzles and a dispenser sized for the B-System 50ml format. Material begins curing once it passes through the mixer, so plan your bead or fill rate accordingly.
