Description

The Medmix MixCoat 940ml empty 4:1 ratio spray cartridge is built for the MixCoat 2-part spray coating system. This is an empty cartridge in the industrial F-System format, designed to hold and dispense 4:1 ratio two-component spray coatings, adhesives, sealants, and similar reactive fluids. Each unit ships with the resealable cap, plug, and sealing pistons needed to fill, store, and seal the cartridge until you are ready to spray. The 940ml (31.8 oz) volume and self-venting piston design keep the two components separated and correctly metered right up to the point of mixing.

The MixCoat system is a spray coating platform. When paired with a MixCoat spray gun, mixer, and the correct nozzle, this cartridge lets you apply a 2-part coating in a controlled spray pattern rather than a static bead. The cartridge is industrial grade and silicone free, with a polypropylene body (manufacturer reference AF 940-04-14-04).

Surface Prep and Use

Fill the empty cartridge with your 4:1 component materials, install the sealing pistons, and cap until use. Prepare the surface to the coating manufacturer’s specification, typically clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, and loose material. Load the filled cartridge into a compatible MixCoat spray gun, attach a fresh static mixing nozzle, and dispense to mix and spray. A dispensing gun and mixing nozzles are required and are sold separately. Match the nozzle and spray setup to the viscosity and pot life of your coating.
