Description
The Medmix Mixpac DMB 50-04-01 is a manual, two component cartridge gun for 50 mL B system cartridges running a 4:1 mix ratio. It comes with the 4:1 plunger already in the gun, which is the part most shops get wrong when they buy a general purpose 50 mL gun and find the adhesive will not cure.
It is a bench and field tool: no air line, no battery, 1.2 kN of thrust through a lever action frame. For occasional bonding, repair work, substrate trials, and service calls, this is the gun that goes in the box with the cartridges.

Common Questions
Does it come with the 4:1 plunger?
Yes. The 04-01 in the part number is the plunger configuration. Guns sold as 1:1 or 2:1 will not meter a 4:1 cartridge correctly, and off ratio material never reaches its published strength.
Will it take a 10:1 cartridge?
No. This gun is configured for 4:1. A 10:1 cartridge needs the matching 10:1 plunger set or a gun built for that ratio.
What is a B system cartridge?
It is the flange and outlet pattern on the back of the cartridge. B system is the common 50 mL square back format used by LORD, Loctite, Devcon, Araldite, 3M, and others. Volume and ratio alone do not tell you the system, so check the flange before ordering a gun.
Is a manual gun enough?
For 50 mL cartridges, yes in most cases. Cold material and high viscosity adhesives get harder to push by hand. If an operator is dispensing all day, or the shop runs below 60 degrees F, a pneumatic gun is easier on the hand.
