Description
MAQ static mixer nozzles are disposable Sulzer Mixpac Quadro nozzles for 50 mL AA series two-component cartridges. They attach with a bayonet twist lock and help mix epoxy, polyurethane, silicone, acrylic, methacrylate, and other reactive materials at the point of dispense.
MAQ static mixer Benefits
- Bayonet connection gives a quick twist-on fit for compatible Mixpac A-System cartridges.
- Square Quadro geometry helps blend two-part materials while keeping the nozzle compact.
- Disposable plastic format reduces cleanup between cartridge changes and material changes.
- 50 mL cartridge fit supports bench work, repair kits, and small production runs.
- Compatibility across common ratios helps buyers stock one nozzle family for several adhesive packs.
These nozzles fit work where mix quality, bead control, and low waste matter more than saving a used tip. Keep fresh nozzles close to the gun so operators can purge cleanly, change cartridges, and restart without forcing cured adhesive through the static elements.
MAQ static mixer Applications
- Two-part epoxy bonding in fixtures, housings, and light assemblies.
- Polyurethane and acrylic adhesive dispensing from 50 mL cartridges.
- Methacrylate repair jobs that need a fresh nozzle for each cartridge start.
- Electronics, aerospace, automotive, wind turbine, and construction repair work.
- Field kits that carry several 50 mL adhesive ratios and matching nozzles.
Setup And Use
Confirm the cartridge style before ordering. MAQ nozzles are for AA series 50 mL cartridges and use the twist-lock inlet rather than a retaining nut. After mounting the nozzle, purge the first small amount until the bead color and texture are uniform.
Do not reuse a nozzle after adhesive begins to cure inside the elements. A partially cured nozzle can raise back pressure, distort the bead, or leave unmixed streaks in the joint.
Technical Details And Documentation
Chemical Concepts lists this Medmix series for 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, and 10:1 AA cartridge work. Medmix documentation identifies MAQ as part of the Mixpac A-System. Review current product-family information from Medmix before adding this nozzle to a controlled process.
