Description
The Mixpac MFHX 13-18T is a disposable helix static mixer for 4:1 and 10:1 F-System cartridges. It has 18 mixing elements in a 13 mm bore and measures 235 mm (9.25 in) overall. The 13 mm bore is the widest in the MFHX line, built for the largest bead sizes and the highest viscosity materials. See the full MFHX line for all eleven sizes.

Where the 13-18T fits
- Widest bore in the MFHX line at 13 mm. It lays the largest bead available and gives the lowest pressure drop for the thickest materials.
- Only two element counts are offered in the 13 mm bore, 18 and 24. There is no 13-32T.
- At 235 mm it is shorter than the 08-32T, the 10-24T, and the 10-32T, so the widest bore does not mean the longest nozzle.
- Retained volume of 20.73 ml. The wide bore holds a lot of material even at only 18 elements, roughly the same as the 10-32T which has almost twice the elements.
- Confirm the 13 mm nozzle physically clears your fixture and that your gun holder accepts the larger body before ordering.
- Mounts directly to the cartridge with no converter. Disposable, so no purging or cleanup between batches.
Compatible cartridges
| Cartridge system | Ratio | Fill volume |
|---|---|---|
| F-System 200 Industrial | 4:1 | 225 ml |
| F-System 200 Industrial | 10:1 | 250 ml |
| F-System 400 Industrial | 4:1 | 415 ml |
| F-System 400 Industrial | 10:1 | 490 ml |
Running a 1:1 or 2:1 cartridge instead? Use the MFH series with white elements. The ratios do not interchange.

Common applications
- High viscosity two-part adhesives and sealants that resist flow through narrower nozzles
- Large bead and high output dispensing from 400 series cartridges
- Filled and thixotropic materials where a narrow bore restricts flow
- Aerospace and aircraft sub-assembly with two-part structural adhesives
- Transportation, marine, and composite assembly with structural adhesives
- Wind turbine blade assembly, repair, and field service
- Construction, concrete repair, and infrastructure work
Ordering
The MFHX 13-18T ships in factory boxes of 800 and is ordered in full box quantities. Pair it with matching cartridges and dispensing guns from the dispensers, mixers, and nozzles category.
Frequently asked questions
What does MFHX 13-18T mean?
MFH is mixer, F-System, helix design. The X marks the 4:1 and 10:1 version with orange elements. The 13 is the 13 mm inner diameter. The 18 is the number of mixing elements. The T is the stepped outlet tip.
What was the old part number for the MFHX 13-18T?
This nozzle was previously sold as the MFX 13-18. The current medmix article number is 151605.
Is there a 13 mm MFHX with 32 elements?
No. The 13 mm bore is offered in 18 and 24 elements only. If you need 32 mixing elements, the largest bore available is the 08-32T at 8 mm or the 10-32T at 10 mm.
When do I need a 13 mm bore instead of 10 mm?
Two reasons. The joint needs a larger bead than a 10 mm nozzle lays down, or the material is thick or heavily filled enough that a 10 mm bore still restricts flow. If neither applies, the 10-18T holds 7.77 ml less material at changeover.
How much adhesive stays in an MFHX 13-18T?
20.73 ml, compared to 26.48 ml for the 13-24T. The wide bore holds a large volume even at 18 elements, so it is worth calculating waste cost per changeover before standardizing on this size.
Will the MFHX 13-18T work on a 1:1 cartridge?
No. MFHX nozzles are built for 4:1 and 10:1 ratios. For 1:1 and 2:1 F-System cartridges, use the MFH series.
