Description
The Techcon needle adapter connects a 1/4 inch NPT threaded fluid line or reservoir to a male luer lock dispensing tip. The body is machined brass, which stands up to solvent based adhesives, cyanoacrylates, and other fluids that would swell or craze a molded plastic fitting. It is a small part that keeps a dispensing line sealed and a tip square to the work.
Where the Techcon needle adapter is used
Benchtop and automated dispensing stations use this fitting to step from a 1/4 inch NPT port down to a standard luer lock needle or tip. It threads onto pressure pots, manifolds, and barrel adapters, then accepts any male luer lock applicator for precise placement of adhesives, lubricants, oils, and coatings. One adapter covers a wide range of tip gauges and lengths. Pair it with stainless or plastic tips depending on the fluid and the finish you need.
How the Techcon needle adapter holds up
Brass construction handles repeated tip changes without the thread wear common to plastic adapters, and it resists the aggressive solvents found in many industrial fluids. The luer lock collar locks tips in place so they stay seated under dispensing pressure rather than blowing off in the middle of a bead. Wipe it down and it is ready for the next fluid. Because the inlet is a common 1/4 inch NPT, the same fitting moves between benches and machines as your tooling changes.

Keep spare adapters at each station so a worn fitting never holds up a run. See related fittings and tips under dispensers, mixers, and nozzles. Full dispensing component data is published by Techcon.
