Description
Permabond® HH190 is an anaerobic curing flange sealant designed to replace conventional pre-cut gaskets or serve as a gasket dressing. It cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces.
Its flowable paste consistency allows metal-to-metal contact while filling surface irregularities. HH190 provides an instant pressure seal and ultimately seals up to 5000 psi, while maintaining uniform stress distribution across the flange.
Available in 50 mL bottles and 300 mL caulk tubes for maintenance and production applications.

*Minimum temperature depends on bonded materials. Product can tolerate brief higher temperature exposure when joints are not highly stressed.

Application and Handling Notes

Apply as a continuous bead, roller, silkscreen, or stencil pattern

Encircle all potential leak paths, including bolt holes

Best performance on clean, dry, grease-free surfaces

Roughened surfaces (~25 µm) increase bond strength

On inactive metals such as zinc, aluminum, or stainless steel, cure speed may be reduced

Permabond A905 or ASC10 activators can be used to accelerate cure

Store at 5 to 25°C
Removal can be achieved using normal tools to separate flanges. Old adhesive should be removed prior to reassembly.
