Description
Permabond UV6260 is a thixotropic, fast-curing UV acrylic adhesive designed for bonding through tinted or UV-filtering substrates, including colored and dark glass. It achieves a tack-free finish and provides excellent adhesion to metals such as aluminum and mild steel, as well as rigid plastics including polycarbonate, PMMA, ABS, PETG, and PVC.
With low shrinkage and high elongation at break, UV6260 is ideal for bonding dissimilar materials with different thermal expansion properties. It offers exceptional environmental durability, passing rigorous 85 °C / 85% RH (85/85) testing, making it well-suited for demanding applications in electronics, automotive, lighting, packaging, signage, lens bonding, and more.
This adhesive is low-odor, RoHS compliant, and resists yellowing, ensuring a clear and reliable finish over time. UV6260 cures quickly under low-intensity UV light, making it an excellent choice for automated, high-speed production environments.
