Description
The Techcon TS1201 modified pin is dispensing valve parts hardware for the pinch tube pen trigger mechanism. It replaces the internal pin that the spring loaded piston bears against each time the operator presses and releases the finger lever, so the pen shuts off cleanly at the end of every dispense cycle. This is a service part for shops running the TS1201 hand held pinch tube pen on two part adhesives, cyanoacrylates, and other low to semi viscous fluids.
Where dispensing valve parts keep the TS1201 pen shutting off clean
The TS1201 pen works by pinching a disposable tube against the fluid path. Pressing the trigger opens the pinch point and material flows. Releasing it lets the internal spring drive the piston back against the pin, closing the tube and stopping flow. That pin takes repeated spring load and trigger cycling on a busy bench. When it wears, deforms, or loses its seat, the pen can drip after release or lose its crisp cutoff, showing up as inconsistent bead starts and stops on cyanoacrylate and two part work.
Replacing the pin restores the shutoff action without replacing the whole pen body, a smaller fix than swapping the entire TS1201 assembly.
How this pin fits the TS1201 platform
This modified pin is specific to the TS1201 pinch tube pen and is not interchangeable with the larger TS1212 pinch valve family. It differs from a disposable mixing nozzle, 2 part mixing nozzle, or jb weld mixing nozzle. Those are single use fluid path accessories, while this pin is internal service hardware for the pen mechanism itself.
