Description
The Techcon 15 gauge gray plastic dispensing needle is a 1-1/2 inch flexible tip for placing cyanoacrylates, primers, solvents, oils, and other assembly fluids where a rigid metal cannula is more likely to scrape the part or fight the fixture. This 50 count pack fits bench work, repair kits, and smaller production cells that need a repeatable tip size without opening a bulk carton.
Where this dispensing needle fits
The 15 gauge bore is a larger plastic-tip size, so it suits materials that need more flow than fine 22 to 25 gauge tips can provide. The flexible polypropylene tube bends into corners, around housings, and into recessed features while still giving the operator a visible dispense point. It can be trimmed shorter when the job needs a stiffer tip, less reach, or lower back pressure. Gray color coding helps technicians separate this size from brown 16 gauge and smaller color-coded tips at a shared workstation.
How the flexible tip helps
Plastic tips are useful when the dispense path moves close to painted parts, molded plastics, glass, or delicate assemblies. The softer outlet helps prevent surface damage during hand placement and can resist clogging in CA work better than some small metal tips. Replace the tip when cured material changes the bead, when switching fluids, or when the cut end gets ragged after trimming. Keep the same gauge and length in the work instruction so a qualified process does not drift from shift to shift.
