Description
The Techcon 20 gauge PTFE-lined dispensing needle is a 1 inch tip for controlled placement of adhesives, sealants, coatings, oils, primers, and other qualified fluids. The lined construction gives the fluid path a lower-stick surface than a plain metal outlet, which can help when the material tends to cling, string, or leave residue at the tip.
Where this dispensing needle fits
The 20 gauge size gives a middle-ground outlet for small beads and dots without moving into very fine gauges that clog quickly. The 1 inch length adds reach for recessed features, fixtures, and parts where the valve or syringe cannot sit close to the target. Use it when a straight, controlled outlet is needed and the process benefits from a lined bore rather than a standard stainless needle.
PTFE-lined tips are commonly selected during process trials when a material does not break cleanly from a standard tip or when cured residue makes the outlet harder to maintain. They still need normal setup discipline. Prove the bead with the actual fluid, pressure, and cycle timing. Replace the tip if the liner is damaged, if cured material narrows the bore, or if switching materials could contaminate the next job. Keep spare tips sealed until the station is ready for use.
