Description
CHT Group QLE 1101 Addition Cure Silicone Coating is a low-viscosity, two-part QLE 1101 silicone elastomer for fabric, textile, and cloth coating work. The transparent material is designed for coating applications where a tough cured film, good adhesion, low shrinkage, and pigment-friendly clarity matter in production.
QLE 1101 Silicone Benefits
- Two-part addition-cure chemistry with a simple 1:1 mix ratio by weight.
- Low 2,000 cP viscosity on both A and B sides helps the material wet cloth and textile surfaces.
- Transparent, colorless components are useful when tinting or visual inspection is part of the process.
- Fast elevated-temperature cure supports repeatable coating work when heat equipment is available.
- Low linear shrinkage helps coated parts hold closer dimensions after cure.
- Greater than 99 percent solids content leaves a high-build cured film without solvent loss.
Use this coating when the job calls for a liquid silicone that can be mixed, de-aired, applied to flexible material, and heat cured into a durable elastomeric layer. Stir both parts before mixing, keep A-side catalyst equipment clean, and remove trapped air under vacuum when void-free coating quality is important.
Common Applications for QLE 1101 Silicone
- Fabric and textile coating where a flexible silicone layer is needed.
- Cloth coating jobs that require low viscosity for wet-out.
- Pigmented silicone coating where a transparent base helps color control.
- Heat-cured specialty coating runs on prepared flexible substrates.
- Prototype and production trials for coated cloth parts.
Compatible Materials
- Prepared fabric and textile substrates used in coating lines.
- Cloth surfaces that can tolerate the selected heat-cure schedule.
- Pigment systems selected for addition-cure silicone compatibility.
- Automated mix and dispense equipment kept free from cross-contamination.
