Description
Techcon TS5000B-02 stainless rotary valve is a dispensing valve for metering higher viscosity fluids through a rotary feed screw. The 16 pitch stainless configuration supports controlled dots, beads, and small deposits where a pressure-only valve can drift with material viscosity, tip size, or operator setup.
dispensing valve for Rotary Metering
The TS5000 family uses positive displacement action. Material feeds from a pressurized reservoir into the valve body, then the rotating screw moves fluid toward the dispense tip in measured increments. The 3 W, 250 RPM drive format and stainless 16 pitch screw make this version a fit for production cells that need a defined metering path for pastes, adhesives, greases, sealants, and other compatible materials.
Where This dispensing valve Fits
- Automated and bench systems that need repeatable dot or bead size.
- Electronics, LED, medical device, and general assembly work with filled or viscous fluids.
- Stations using a Techcon controller, feed reservoir, tubing, and precision dispense tip.
- Processes where screw pitch, motor speed, and wetted materials must match the fluid.

Set the valve with the controller, reservoir pressure, screw pitch, and tip selected for the material. Start with a short test pattern, confirm deposit weight or bead width, then document pressure and speed settings before production. Keep spare feed screws, tips, and cleaning supplies near the cell so maintenance can return the valve to service after a material change. Filled compounds can wear wetted parts, so inspect the material path when shot size begins to drift or deposits develop tails.
