Description
SynthoGlass red silicone bonding tape, 1 in x 10 ft x 0.02 in (0.5 mm). Self-fusing silicone that bonds to itself without separate adhesive, used to anchor the start and finish of SynthoGlass red high-temp compression film during engineered pipe repair installations. Also works as a standalone field tape for high-temp leak isolation and emergency wrap on hoses, pipe, and conduit.
Wrap with moderate tension over the work area, stretch to activate the self-fusing bond, and continue with 50 percent overlap on each turn. Stays put without leaving adhesive residue. Pairs with the SynthoGlass red compression film products for engineered repair systems. Used with all SynthoGlass engineered repair kits and standard repair products.
