Description
The Techcon TS110C-LD dispensing cartridge is a 1/10 gallon (325 mL) low-density polypropylene cartridge, a softer-wall alternative to the standard high-density version. Low-density material flexes more readily, which matters most for remix cartridges and material that ships or stores frozen.
Where this cartridge fits
Remix and frozen-storage workflows are the main reason to choose the low-density version over the standard HD cartridge. Frozen premixed adhesives and sealants expand slightly as they thaw, and a low-density wall gives that expansion somewhere to go without cracking the cartridge. It still runs in the same hand-held or bench-mounted air-powered or manual dispensing tools as the HD version, at up to 100 psi, and drops into the same guns already set up for the standard-density TS110C.
How this cartridge performs
The 1.85 inch inside diameter and roughly 8.99 inch length keep this cartridge dimensionally interchangeable with the standard-density TS110C, so guns, plungers, and nozzles already on hand still fit. The natural color leaves the material visible through the wall, useful for confirming a clean fill and even color mix before dispensing. Because the wall flexes more than the HD version, operators loading frozen or remixed material see fewer cracked cartridges during thaw and less product loss from a split barrel mid-shot. Keep the low-density and standard-density versions clearly labeled on the shelf, since the two look nearly identical once a nozzle is attached and mixing up wall types on a frozen-fill line defeats the reason for stocking the LD version at all.
