The TrimLok UV light is a compact, paddle-style handheld UV lamp designed for curing UV-activated adhesives, sealants, and coatings in trim installation, fabrication, and repair applications. The flat form factor with a blue silicone bumper surround makes it easy to grip and maneuver in tight spaces. A single focused UV LED emitter delivers targeted ultraviolet output directly onto the bond line. The unit charges via included USB micro cable, so there’s no wall adapter to manage and it stays ready with any standard USB power source.

How the TrimLok UV Light Works

UV-cure adhesives contain photoinitiators that react to ultraviolet wavelengths, typically 365 nm to 405 nm. Exposing the bond line to the UV lamp triggers polymerization and produces a full cure in seconds. The single LED emitter concentrates output on a specific area, which is useful for precise chip repairs and small joint lines where you want cure control without flooding surrounding material. Bond quality still depends on surface prep and joint fit. UV energy cures the adhesive but does not compensate for contaminated or poorly fitted surfaces.
