The Lord 406/19 Glass Bead (GB) Grey is a structural acrylic adhesive perfect for metal bonding

LORD® 406 acrylic adhesive (in combination with LORD Accelerator 19 or 19GB) can be used to replace welding, brazing, riveting and other mechanical fastening methods. This adhesive system performs particularly well in low-temperature environments and applications that are subject to high impact or high peel loads. Those particular qualities make it a perfect product to use in the snowy environments.
This particular acrylic adhesive creates an adhesive system that bonds a wide variety of prepared or unprepared metals and engineered plastics. It’s specifically formulated to provide the highest impact and peel strengths available in a room temperature curing adhesive.
Take caution though – LORD 406 acrylic adhesive is flammable. Do not store or use near heat, sparks or open flame.
A Few Features and Benefits of LORD 406
Versatile – bonds a wide range of unprepared metals with minimal substrate preparation, as well as engineered thermoplastics including XENOY®, polycarbonate, ABS and acrylics.
Temperature Resistant – performs at temperatures from -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +149°C).
Environmentally Resistant – resists dilute acids, alkalis, solvents, greases, oils, moisture, salt spray and weathering; provides excellent resistance to indirect UV exposure.
Non-Sag – remains in position when applied on vertical or overhead surfaces, allowing for greater process flexibility.
UL Rated – when mixed with LORD Accelerator 19, adhesive system is UL 746C certified.
The TAH 190-620 or Nordson 7701487 is a Bayonet style static mixer with 20 mixing elements and an element diameter of 6.35 mm (.250 in). This static mixer has an H Tapered tip allowing for fine adhesive dispensing. This particular 190-620H mixer is one of our most popular Nordson TAH nozzles for mixing and dispensing.
(1) CCH50G 4:1 Ratio Dispensing Gun for 50 ml Cartridges
The CCH50G is an industry-standard dispensing gun for 50ml double-barrel cartridges. This dispensing gun features a no-drip design, is impact resistant, has a hardened plastic body, is lightweight and extremely durable. This dispensing gun works with all major adhesive brands, including Loctite, Devcon, Araldite, Lord, Masterbond, Plexus, and all others with standard 50 ml cartridges
