Description

This 400ml cartridge contains Chem-Set 633, a thixotropic two-part epoxy gel that fills gaps to 0.25 in and holds position on vertical and overhead work. The 400ml format is the production package: eight times the volume of a 50ml cartridge, fewer changeovers, and lower cost per bond. It runs on manual or pneumatic 400ml dispensing systems, which is worth having on a line where an operator is bonding all shift. Requires a 400ml gun and mixing nozzles, both sold separately.

Dispensing This Package

Load the cartridge into a 400ml manual or pneumatic dispensing system without a nozzle attached, open the tip, and burp the cartridge until both sides come out uniform. Attach the mixing nozzle, purge a short bead onto scrap, then apply.

Working Notes

• Lowest cost per bond of the three packages and fewer cartridge changes across a shift.
• Pneumatic dispensing reduces hand fatigue on high-volume runs and gives more consistent bead control than a manual gun at this size.
• Working time is still 4 to 7 minutes once mixed, so a larger cartridge does not mean a longer window. Dispense only what gets placed.
• Cap between uses and change the nozzle. Material cures inside a used nozzle.
• Non-sagging gel holds position on vertical and overhead bond lines.
