Description
QSil Primer No. 3 Blue is a one-component silicone adhesion primer formulated with reactive silanes in a volatile solvent system. It is designed to improve adhesion between silicone elastomers and a range of substrates, including metals, rubbers, polyester, and nylon.
This blue-tinted version is the standard formulation, allowing visual confirmation of coverage during application. It differs from the clear and UV-tracer versions, which are used where visibility or inspection requirements vary.
Upon application, the solvent evaporates to leave a thin bonding layer that promotes adhesion of both addition-cure and condensation-cure silicones. The primer cures with ambient moisture and is suitable for use on non-porous surfaces.
