Description
The Mixpac MFHX 10-18T is a disposable helix static mixer for 4:1 and 10:1 F-System cartridges. It has 18 mixing elements in a 10 mm bore and measures 224 mm (8.82 in) overall. The wide bore combined with the low element count gives the highest flow and the lowest pressure drop in the line, which makes it the choice for larger beads and higher viscosity materials. See the full MFHX line for all eleven sizes.

Where the 10-18T fits
- Widest bore with the lowest element count, which is the lowest resistance combination in the line. If a material is too thick to push through an 8 mm nozzle, this is the next step.
- The 10 mm bore lays down a noticeably larger bead than the 6 and 8 mm sizes. Match the bore to the joint, not just to the material.
- At 224 mm it is shorter than both the 08-24T and the 08-32T, so stepping up in bore does not always mean a longer nozzle.
- Retained volume of 12.96 ml, higher than any 6 or 8 mm nozzle. The wide bore holds more material even at only 18 elements.
- Mounts directly to the cartridge with no converter. Disposable, so no purging or cleanup between batches.
Compatible cartridges
| Cartridge system | Ratio | Fill volume |
|---|---|---|
| F-System 200 Industrial | 4:1 | 225 ml |
| F-System 200 Industrial | 10:1 | 250 ml |
| F-System 400 Industrial | 4:1 | 415 ml |
| F-System 400 Industrial | 10:1 | 490 ml |
Running a 1:1 or 2:1 cartridge instead? Use the MFH series with white elements. The ratios do not interchange.

Common applications
- Higher viscosity two-part adhesives and sealants that resist flow through narrower nozzles
- Larger bead and higher output dispensing from 400 series cartridges
- Aerospace and aircraft sub-assembly with two-part structural adhesives
- Automotive body, glass, and trim attachment with methacrylate or polyurethane
- Transportation, marine, and composite assembly with structural adhesives
- Wind turbine blade assembly, repair, and field service
- Construction, concrete repair, and infrastructure work
Ordering
The MFHX 10-18T ships in factory boxes of 1,000 and is ordered in full box quantities. Pair it with matching cartridges and dispensing guns from the dispensers, mixers, and nozzles category.
Frequently asked questions
What does MFHX 10-18T mean?
MFH is mixer, F-System, helix design. The X marks the 4:1 and 10:1 version with orange elements. The 10 is the 10 mm inner diameter. The 18 is the number of mixing elements. The T is the stepped outlet tip.
What was the old part number for the MFHX 10-18T?
This nozzle was previously sold as the MFX 10-18. The current medmix article number is 102477.
When should I step up from an 8 mm to a 10 mm nozzle?
Two reasons. If the material is thick enough that the gun labors or the bead comes out inconsistent through an 8 mm nozzle, the wider bore lowers the pressure drop. If the joint needs a larger bead than an 8 mm nozzle lays down, the 10 mm bore is the next step up. If neither applies, the 8 mm sizes hold less material at changeover.
Is the 10-18T longer than the 8 mm nozzles?
Longer than the 08-18T at 187 mm, but shorter than both the 08-24T at 234 mm and the 08-32T at 296 mm. Element count drives length more than bore diameter does.
How much adhesive stays in an MFHX 10-18T?
12.96 ml, compared to 16.70 ml for the 10-24T and 21.22 ml for the 10-32T. It is the lowest of the 10 mm group but still higher than any 6 or 8 mm nozzle.
Will the MFHX 10-18T work on a 1:1 cartridge?
No. MFHX nozzles are built for 4:1 and 10:1 ratios. For 1:1 and 2:1 F-System cartridges, use the MFH series.
