Surface Preparation And Use

Clean and dry both bond surfaces before applying the mixed adhesive. Huntsman guidance calls for removing oil, grease, dirt, and other contaminants with an effective degreasing agent. For stronger and more durable joints, mechanically abrade or chemically treat the surface after degreasing, then clean again before bonding.

Mix and dispense according to the approved process for the AV 5308 system. Apply the adhesive to prepared joint surfaces, assemble parts promptly, and hold them in position until handling strength is reached. Do not use low-grade alcohol, gasoline, or paint thinner as surface cleaners for this adhesive process.
