Description
QM 270 is a two-component, addition-cure silicone elastomer designed for moldmaking applications requiring higher hardness and dimensional stability. The system has a pourable consistency and extended work life, allowing for detailed mold filling and degassing prior to cure.
The cured material forms a high durometer silicone rubber (up to 70 Shore A with heat) with strong mechanical properties and low shrinkage. It is used for molds in architectural, furniture, and prototype applications where durability and rigidity are required.
