QM 262 is a two-component, addition-cure silicone elastomer designed for moldmaking applications requiring low viscosity, dimensional stability, and FDA compliance. The pourable system allows for accurate reproduction of fine details while maintaining consistent mechanical performance.
The cured material forms a 60 Shore A silicone rubber with strong tensile and tear properties, making it suitable for repeated casting. QM 262 is commonly used for molds in architectural, prototype, and food-contact applications, including candy and other compliant uses.
