Description
CHT QSil 553 is a two-component, platinum-cured silicone elastomer system specifically engineered for potting and encapsulating sensitive electronics. With excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, and soft mechanical properties, QSil 553 provides long-lasting protection from vibration, impact, and harsh environmental exposure.
It cures into a resilient gray silicone rubber that maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range. Its long pot life (100 minutes) makes it ideal for bulk pours, large parts, and processes requiring time for degassing or setup.
