Overview
The SynthoGlass Porcupine Roller (PERF2X2) is the engineered installation tool for SynthoGlass composite wrap repair systems. The roller drives the perforating tape over a freshly applied wrap, puncturing the outer film so trapped air and excess resin can escape during cure. The result is a tighter, void-free laminate and a stronger repair.
What It Does
- Perforates the outer compression film on SynthoGlass UP and similar fiberglass repair wraps
- Releases trapped air pockets and excess resin before the wrap sets
- Improves consolidation and bond strength of the cured composite
- Designed for use during the working window of the resin (3-5 minutes)
